Overview

Technicon Design Group is actively seeking an experienced, registered architect to join our growing practice in northwest Ohio.  Our firm offers unique opportunities for both personal and professional growth by offering a wide range of project responsibilities and leadership roles.  In this role you will have the ability to work on a diverse set of projects ranging from commercial to mixed-use to multi-family.

 

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented, motivated individual seeking progressively more responsible assignments on a variety of projects.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a project through the Design Process

  • Communicating with a diverse range of clients

  • Coordinating project consultants

  • Participating in construction document and detailing

  • Assisting with contract administration responsibilities

 

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should exhibit strong organizational skills and be able to collaborate in a diverse project team. Strengths in conceptual design, technical excellence, and communication skills are also desired. Candidates should be familiar with coordinating project deliverables and clients.

 

A professional, NAAB accredited degree in Architecture is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry. Current architectural registration or anticipation of registration and experience preparing all stages of design documentation, performing construction administration, and consultant coordination are required.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented, motivated individual seeking progressively more responsible assignments on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop competitive fee structures reflecting defined scope of services for project pursuits 

  • Establish and manage project plans and schedules 

  • Oversee the completion of projects on time and within fee budget 

  • Anticipate, understand and manage client expectations 

  • Communicating with a diverse range of clients

  • Coordinating project consultants

  • Participating in construction document and detailing

  • Overseeing contract administration responsibilities

 

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should exhibit strong organizational skills and be able to collaborate in a diverse project team. Strengths in conceptual design, technical excellence, and communication skills are also desired. Candidates should be familiar with coordinating project phase deliverables and clients.

A degree in an Architecture related field is preferred, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and construction industry. Auto Cad proficiency is required; Revit proficiency is preferred. Experience preparing all stages of design documentation, performing construction administration, and consultant coordination are required.
