TDG has valued the opportunity to partner with Chief Tom Hadding and American Township Fire Dept. on multiple projects. Building on a strong and collaborative working relationship established with the successful completion of Fire Station No. 2 in 2017, TDG was selected to provide full architectural and project management services for the design and delivery of the new Fire Station No. 1 on Elida Road. The project is a state-of-the-art first responder facility featuring a complex operational program on a highly visible and active site. TDG managed the project from initial programming and design through construction documentation and the competitive public bidding process, which resulted in receiving bids that were one million dollars below the department's established budget of ten million dollars.
